On this day, 1 April 1978: Cheeky
Cover artwork: Frank McDiarmid
On this day, 1 April 1978 … Only one place to visit on April Fool’s Day – it has to be Krazytown, where Cheeky has a week to survive from Easter Sunday through to the First of April. No comic lends itself better to the familiar challenge of trying to avoid a whole morning of being pranked than Cheeky with its huge cast of characters all determined to humiliate the champ-toothed chumpster himself.
