On this day, 14 November 1970: Thunder
On this day, 14 November 1970 … This is the fifth issue of Thunder, an interesting counterpoint to yesterday’s Whizzer and Chips post as Thunder was the first ‘adventure’ comic published by IPC following the company’s division of humour and adventure titles. And full-on adventure it provides. Watch out in particular for some outstanding artwork by Denis McLoughlin on Fury’s Family, Alex Henderson on Steel Commando and Massimo Belardinelli on The Terrible Trail to Tolmec.
